When did the WP officially cease to exist or has it become a fallen flag? (I thought that it had done so some years ago.) I'm curious because I've noticed 3 boxcars and 1 auto rack in WP paint over the past couple of weeks here in Houston. It surprised since I thought the WP was gone a number of years ago.

WP was "merged" into the Union Pacific in 1982.
