Re: Mexican Frequncies?

A minor point. Europeans did all that. Very few Americans ventured that

Huh? Americans ARE Europeans, by and large. They are just the ones not wanted at home...

The reason I'm thinking of moving to Mexico is that Americans don't take care of their own and Mexico is cheaper for me to live.

Gareth, I really wan't to stop responding to your dumb remarks. By dumb, I mean DUMB, not stupid or thoughtless. It must be sad to not be able to contribute to a community in the way most people do. By calling me "Mr. expert" and "King of the wise men" you are really just showing your own inability to write properly. And you don't seem comfortable with your lack of it... That's my last reply to you :-) So go ahead, throw me a one-liner!

At the time you are trying to refer to, Americans were a distinctly different group and had distinguished themselves voluntarily. Americans were not down in Mexico and central america doing what you suggest. It was promarily Spaniards and Portuguese with a smattering of Germans.

Like you have a clue? Illegal mexicans flood the states. Worst case I personally knew of was 6 families, over 20 persons in one small 3 bedroom 1 bath house. Yes - like bunnies. They are quickly given driver's license and voting registration cards, told to vote only *democratico* and medical benefits, which honest natural citizens are denied. They apply for and get a pocket full of social security cards, different name on each, then work contractor jobs that last from 1 to several months. That way they can eventually be drawing unemployment compensation for several names while working another job. That is paid by the tax dollars of those of us that WORK.

I've seen it being done. My late father was subjected to these practices for many years as he too made a living working the oil industry contract jobs. While he had periods of unemployment, WASP pride and work ethics prevented him ever drawing any form of social welfare including unemployment. He did finally, in his mid-'70s, accept his Social Security that he had paid in for so many years, and then only when he was forced by social-government & insurance to remain out of the oil field industry. All you socialist sobs sit and denounce all the *racists* in the USA, yet when push comes to shove you yell for help and aid. If it were not for the US, you would all be marching in goose step and shouting "Seig Heil" yet having no clue of what victory means. I too have way more than enough of Mojado Espalda. However the politically-correct socialist society now prevails and some lazy worthless do-gooders will in due time be on the cooler end of the piss-stream. Just wish I could see them then. Just who will answer your HELP calls when the mexicanos take over here?

If the mexicano have it so rough, why don't you transport them over there to your place? Hell, I bet if we furnished the ships, loaded the ships and dispatched them to you, you would launch your air force and sink all the ships. Your talk is just that - talk.

Yeah. I pointed out that you were too busy killing the indigenous population instead of enslaving them. You presumably the need to go to Africa for that was based on pure dollar economics.

The main differences ended up being that more Europeans settled in teh USA than did in Mexico, this altering the oppressor-to-oppressed ratio significantly enough to generate a different culture, and, by and large, those who settled were not overlords and slacve masters set on pure exploitation, but the overpsill of teh nortyhern European cultures - those who found no economic advantages, or were so religiously intolerant that they were not happy 'back home'.

In short, pretty much the same sorts of peoples that the Mexixcan immigrant is today....

Oh, we have plenty of similar folk drifting in from Portugal, Poland, Iraq, Iran, Albania etc etc etc.

Its a natural result of a rich power bloc with a land border to a poor suite of nations. Who have been hitherto exploited for cheap labour, but now, exposed to television and available transport, do what anyone would do. Move from serious deprivation to the chance of something marginally better. Just as all American settlers have done. And, indeed, all our ancestors.

Ask the picts, scots and celts, if you can find any, how they felt about teh hordes of Goths, Vandals, Huns, Visigothes, Vikings, tartasr, mongols, Persians, Medes, and so on who wandered in behind their efforts to take over a landmass behind a shrinking icecap. Or idneed teh Algonquin, Winnebago, Cheyenne, Sioux, Navajo, black feet, etc etc...who had to see the same thing happen.

What goes around comes around.

A perfectly Euro-centric view.

Isn't this your opinion? Shouldn't you have kept it to yourself?

The mistake you're all making is you're judging entire cultures by the actions of a few. And this makes you better how?

Most people just want a fair break and the chance to make life better for their families. And the US is without a doubt the best place in the world for them to do it in.

My stable manager is from Columbia. He's uneducated by our standards but he still brought his family here to give them a better life. He's not rich but he's done well. He's reliable, intelligent and trustworthy. He efficiently manages the operations of a stable housing over 100 animals. Many of which belong to others. He's well respected by everyone who does business here. The proudest I've eve seen him was a few weeks ago. He informed me that his

19 year old daughter would be leaving us in February and reporting to US Marine Corps basic training. She intends to use it as a means to pay for her college. After which she plans to become an officer and make the Marines a career. He can't stop smiling!

I defy any of you to claim to be better, richer or less oppressed than this man!
