Went to Crossness today. It was one of the few steaming days that they have each year. Quite a small but nice display of stationary engines running. A few Wolseys and Listers together with a nice Ruston Hornsby. I was amazed that most of Crossness is unrestored. The fancy paintwork that is so commonly displayed in pictures and on documentarys is one of the only bits that has been restored. Nice day out though
