Before anyone jumps on me, I was not aware that it is the policy of this group, not to discuss ebay autions before they finish.

I have no connection with the vendor, and I will not be bidding due to lack of space :-(

I wouldn't worry too much, anyone seriously looking for that sort of thing would have found it straight away with an ebay search because the description was well chosen. I think it's the more obscure items, or those which don't get much attention because they're poorly described, that some here don't like having more attention drawn to them ;-)

Nice engine! It certainly sold for a higher price than I would pay, just goes to show what a bit of promotion can achieve.
I think that the fact it was posted on the Stationary Engine List (SEL) as well as here probably resulted in it being bought by a Stateside bidder.
Anyone we might know, Arnie? Shipment won't be cheap either.
