It occurs to me that we have all got a project partly completed & are Looking For A .... Perhaps this time of year is a good time to be making some enquiries.
Also, you might ask for the engine you would cherish in your collection.
I'll start the ball rolling by saying that I'm on the look out for a specific dynamo as fitted to the Stuart Turner flat twin. You can see a photo here

The engine I would cherish is an ABC Mk I APU. I have the bare bones of one, but it is just a bare engine. Here is a more complete example.
