A useful web based news portal (if that's the right word). Indeed it was through mailgate that I first came across this NG - knowing nothing about the parallel universe of usenet at the time.
I was looking for someone';s e-mail address by doing a google search on their name and discovered quite by chance that the Mailgate server in the UK is back on line.
