one has the experts arguing but as you say it is probably a good fake.!
As a young lad I knew a school friend who used to build models that would fly as if bits where missing and in fact during the WWII Germany built many asymmetrically designed aircraft that flew but that was all model the vertical snap rolls where not sharp enough for the real thing for a start.
