Roland, i've spoke to my local diesel specialist and he does'nt list an injector of that part number have you by any chance misread the number??

Thanks Gary I rechecked. That number is correct but probably fairly old now.

Comes up on the Delphi parts CD without the LDC prefix, it is a good number but no longer serviced as an assembly, nozzles are available.
See my other post for applications.

many thanks Peter. Sadly it means they won't fit my 405 so will go on Ebay. regards Roland
Not necessarily- if the bodies are the same it would just be a case of having the nozzles and possibly the springs changed. Could well be worth a word with your local fuel injection man.

Rather like the darker days of CAV, the Delphi parts lists shows thousands of variants within a group, each one having a unique identifier number.
Unless you were very lucky indeed, I'd be surprised if they did indeed fit anything else, except possibly the same engines in that group.
Perkins had the same problem, look for a pump or injector for a 6-354 and you had a long list of possibles.

as long as I'm on a roll :-) does anyone have a Crosland catalogue? I also picked up a NOS Crosland diesel filter assembly which I shall use to replace the rather inadequate original on the Atomic. Given the way modern part suppliers work it would be useful to know to what it was originally fitted so as to ease renewal of the element. Filter body part number is 26533 and an hours Googling got me nowhere.....
