Christmas steam engine anyone?
Take an egg and blow it - settle down at the back please. Tut-tut ..........
Make holes as small as you can in either end. Poke a needle in and out several times to ensure the air sack is burst. Blowing in one end will push the contents out of the other.
Make a simple lightweight wire frame to accept the egg shell and suspend from a central, balanced pivot.
Half fill the egg with water and light a candle beneath it. The resulting jet will propel the egg in a circle of course, returning to the flame to maintain pressure.
