A sciffy novelist of the calibre of * * "***" ***** could probably make some fine potboiling space-opera from the idea of "Space Vikings".

I still want to see the Hollywood film version of "Undead Vikings on Vincents", with Nic Cage not being rubbish for once and Richard Thompson on the soundtrack.

Indeed, "Space Viking" (or something very close to that) is the name of just such a novel by, umm..., H. Beam Piper?

In terra pax, Rouland Carre.
