Hi I recently purchased a 1920 5 HP Petter M. It was missing the bracket that holds the govenor onto the side of the crankcase. I promptly purchased one making clear the type of Petter M it is. When i came to fit this bracket though it was too small and the whole unit would actually fit between the two studs that are suppose to hold it on. On contacting the seller he said that it was definatly off a 5HP M type. Could the size of this unit difer between earlier and later models or is it a case of the wool being pulled over my eyes?
