Big (big!) V8 in that distinctive shade of pale snot green, or eau de nil as it's known to squaddies. Sitting in a yard and glimpsed over a fence.
I wonder if it's a Meteorite ? Closer look tomorrow!

besides being a V8 is it petrol or diesel ??

Sadly not a Meteorite. It turned out to be a Paxman V6 diesel, with closely attached generator. Railway diesel-electric loco power unit, AFAIK.
