Just what we need... another eGroup/ message board/ forum/ chat room etc, etc...

Yes, I'm a cynic but as an enthusiastic d&e modeller, I formerly looked upon those places as a mine of good advice, help and information.

However, a certain destructive element seem to turn each one in turn into a petty, bickering kiddies retreat. I'm sick of them all, personally.

What is it with diesel and electric modellers? Do other modellers' (ie steam or other countries) forums put up with this much rubbish?

Ah! Glad it's not just me who thinks that. The history of D&E forums seems to be rows, hissy fits, toys out of pram, groups and archives removed, and most amusingly but perhaps most destructively, inter-magazine fights, where contributors, ex-contributors, and editors engage in girly slap-fights in public. It's always the well-known names in D&E modelling who seem to be at the centre of the worst!

Regards,

Stuart.
