Been sucked into fixing the odd bits and locos - devil in this size ! There must be a technique to refitting standard Bachmann couplings on with the spring correctly in place. Can someone give me a clue :-)
cheers, Simon

My technique is to dab a little cyano adhesive on the bogie end of the spring, place the spring over the locating pip on the bogie. this secures it permanently and ensures that it doesn't ping off into the wild blue yonder when I refit the coupling.
Hope this helps, Ian
Seems a good idea, will give it a try. Went to n-gauge show on sunday near Warwick, bit expensive to get in but very good time had by all. Bought a couple of pewterTank kits (Army type) from P.G.Models - definately a good supplier, detail is wonderful.
Thanks, Simon
Been there, done that :-) I won't take credit for the idea but I don't remeber where I previously heard about it.
Ian
Works with Kadee and other tiny springs.
