Peco crossovers

I have a bjiou promlem-ette with some Peco diamond crossings. The waythey are built, there is an exposed rail-end of opposite polarity tothe adjacent rail such that if the back of the wheel touches it, ashort occurs. But the other end, where the adjacent rails are of thesame polarity, is insulated! Two crossings (different angles) areboth the same. Since the crossovers are nowhere near a point and Iuse DCC (so don't have isolated sections of track) this is a bittedious.Obviously I can fix it simply by filing back slightly and adding athin insulating piece over the rail-end, but why is it done that way?Simply reversing the insulated and exposed ends would solve theproblem completely.Guy

Hi Steve, Pilz now seems to be a part of the Tillig TT Bahn group.

I think you want Tillig "Standard" track, not the "Elite" which I think is code 83.
