anybody use an old Dynasty 300?

Has anybody used one of the old Miller Dynasty 300 machines?

There is one for sale and I was wondering if they have any known problems.

Thanks, BobH

The Dynasty 300 was the top TIG machine in the US for a long time. It was recently replaced with the Dynasty 350.

They have no known chronic problems. How much are they asking?

They are magnificent machines, but if a board goes out it is a minimum $1000 repair. That is why a lot of shops don't like holding onto older inverters. But if the machine had an easy life there is no reason for it to have problems. If it was a field welding machine, be very careful. They can take a lot of damage being thrown into job boxes and trucks.
