Anyone have a centrifuge for sale for w.v.o.

Glenn,

Why don't you tell the truth; I have only said it 'won't work' ONE TIME. Then, I was in a hurry and perhaps it was abrupt.

I get a lot of help on here and am appreciative of it even if some of it doesn't apply to what I am looking for.

So, take you nanny attitude and your etiquette badge and arrogance elsewhere as I don't need it.

Yes, Bruce. I want to separate the w.v.o. from the water suspended in it. There are many ways to do this but at this time, I want to do it with a centrifuge/separator.

I have the feeling that unless you are talking substantial research, prototyping and development time you are barking up the wrong tree. To build a centrifuge to separate some form of veggie oil from water you would start with the specific gravity of the two substances, rpm of the bowl, angle of bowl sides and on and on. I'm not you but if I were I'd be looking for a different solution.

I don't know the relative vapor pressure of your substances but a heated vacuum chamber will refine substances fairly rapidly.

Or possibly some sort of coalescer system. For an automated, sort of coalescer system, have a look at

which is stated to work with bio-diesel.

There is also electrostatic precipitation with gravity separation.

Look for a dairy cream separator. They can be very efficieny. We used to use one to prepare bulk microbiology samples.
