What is considered the best rod for TIG welding Aluminium extrusions, looks for pleasing looking finish rather than pure strength. John Allen New Zealand

4043 is a little easier to work with. Softer, more ductile.

5356 gives a better color match. Harder, stronger, better corrosion resistance.
