I have a carburetor from a briggs 5hp gokart engine that is broken. Is there any possible way to weld or braze this?

It's aluminum. Fire up the TIG.

I can imagine that you broke off one of the mounting flanges ?? Get a flat surface to lay it on to try to keep it straight . You can NOT squeeze any small aluminum part . Any pressure on these parts will crush the aluminum when it gets up to welding temperature , I don't know the exact degree but aluminum looses all its strength when it gets really hot . It will crumble like a cookie . If their is some other part that you broke off then remember that the inside of carburetors are polished smooth , any turbulence will affect it's performance . You don't have to have full penetration and it was probably an accident that broke it so don't try to make it too strong .
