Lincoln sa200f162 ....question

Trying to get some info on a Lincoln Shield ARC SA200 DC welder. I have a model# of SA200F162. Can get further info if needed.

I'm looking into this for a friend who has this unit laying around ( left behind by past relative )and they are looking into selling it off. Any info would be appreciated.

Go to the Lincoln website under literature I believe.

If by chance this is the welder you have, you need click no further. If it's not, see the link further down.

It does not have a schematic but I'd guess with some more searching you will find one is still available from Lincoln.

The link below is for the index to Lincoln's Obsolete Manuals in pdf format. I have had trouble navigating Lincoln's website ever since they updated it to the childish active-x / java crap. You may not have any trouble with the links in the PDF if you have a newer system with all the software "defaults" left alone.

You can call Lincoln at 800-833-9353. If you tell them the code number and serial number, they should be able to tell you what manual matches the machine and the year it was manufactured.

Knowing how old it is could be important in determining its value.
