Nylon MIG Gun Liner

I've started to do some aluminum MIG welding, straight argon .035 wire. The wire is feeding horribly. To fix this, I want to buy this nylon welding gun liner

Will this work with steel and aluminum, or do I have to switch liners?

You need to use the nylon or teflon liner only for aluminum.

Back when I was doing this on my Betamig 250, I found it easier in the long run to just get a second gun, and use it only for aluminum.

When my MIG started feed erratically, I replaced the worn nylon liner with a bicycle brakecable housing. It was excactly the same OD and a bit wider inner diameter. As it is teflon coated it works just great (so far). And it will be cheap to replace. Henning
