Just looking on ebay and around for some cutting tips.



What do the numbers designate?



I know Victor, the middle number is size, but how about the others?


1-1-101 means size #1 to me

On propane, it's like 4-3-GPN



I would ass-u-me that's a size 3. Am I correct on that one?



What about the other numbers? Torch head size they will fit?



I think on the GPN P is for Propane, is the N for natural gas? What about the G?



Just curious. Never learned this part.

victor has an awful lot of nozzles especially when you get into mapp propolene and that sort of stuff where some of the others aren't as fussy with what fuel goes into the nozzle. I didn't find their website set up to figure things out easy. Though I haven't tried it seems if you shortened the inside piece of a mapp nozzle you would essentially get a propane nozzle.

The series five is the tiniest they don't market new torches for this series. hoard them the series three is the smaller of what they now market the series one is the basic industrial one and the one with the most specialty tips. There may well be others for the steel industry. I know I have a two series tip I got in an eBay lot.

I don't use victor so my info is just from identifying what I have ended up with.
