"roll of coins" backwards?

First of all I am new to welding and I'm triyng to teach myself with as little help as possible. Now for my problem, I was welding stainless steel a little less than 1/16" if not 1/16" with a Hobart Handler 175 with the voltage on 1 and wire speed at 10 and I had the nozzle at the proper angle pushing into the weld and I had to weld a 6" seam and it took about 15 seconds, (if that means anything), with .035 wire. I got great penetration and the weld was solid and I had the "roll of coins" look going except, it was backwards. The weld looked like I pulled toward my instead of away. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Were you pulsing the gun or weaving?

I tacked the piece in several places and then welded in the normal fashion between the tack welds so I guess I pulse welded when I was tacking and then weaved the welds between the tack welds. hope this helps, thanks.
