Rusty Dubs & Galvanised repair

Nov 16, 2009 2 Replies

Watcha :)

Can I pick your brains please?

I have a rusty '78 VW camper (UK). The bottom of the b-post & rear of the front wheel arch is rotten. I've cut out the tin-worm

Would it be advantageous to use galvanonised steel to replace these areas? Of course after stripping the area to be welded (MIG)

Thanks
