Sell/swapping a miller XMT for a dynasty 200 good places to list the xmt

Other than EBAY are there and decent places to list/sell an XMT 304 CC welder with a decent audience of people who would actually find full use of it?



I've needed to work on aluminum FAR more than i've neeeded to weld over



200 amps and as such i cant with this machine

Basically i bought too big a welder i dont need to ever weld over 200 amps stick Ever and my tig torch is rated to 200 so a machine that can do to 400 is overkill for me and i'm looking to swap for a Dynasty 200 or similar machine (AC/DC with advanced squarewave Inverter capable of working on 240 single phase easily carried by one reasonably sized person)

Craigslist, also there is an AWS for sale forum, not sure how effective it is.

Why not just run a Miller 15A or 30A spoolgun off your XMT 304? You can weld aluminum all day long with a spoolgun.

Main reason is a preference to Tig

Second reason is that either solution would cost approx the same so better a new welder than a new spoolgun

I would go to the Miller forum and put it up for sale. Also

and the Hobart site has a forum. As far as a trade very unlikely. Used XMT CC's go all the time on ebay for cheaper than a Dynasty. Most people that have a Dynasty only get rid of it to go to a bigger Dynasty or maybe an Aerowave. Your dealer wont take it on trade, or sell it on consignment?

I never asked about consignment but i only ever saw shiny new welders in my dealers shop too

I'm not worried about it going for cheaper than a dynasty i got it for cheaper than a dynasty but a year in to my leaarning and practice welding i've realized that the right tool is an AC/DC inverter based welder and that the XMT 304 is OVERKILL for all my applications

I'm not building ships or repairing backhoes in my garage so i dont need to weld anywhere near 400 amps
