3/32 is the most popular... i
3/32. The "normal size"

Corret tungsten dia is directly related to material thickness, and size of filler rod.
I recommend 3/32". It is easier to manipulate when grinding the points and is less likely to break when dropped than 1/16".
It also has more mass to it so you won't destroy them as fast.
You will likely destroy your first box of 10 tungstens pretty fast. The second box should last 6 months to a year. If you are going to buy 1 kind of tungsten , buy 1.5% Lanthanated. They will work better than 2% Thoriated for DCEN and are far superior to Pures for AC.
Sigh..indeed.
After reading this suggestion from Ernie a year or more ago, I bought some 1.5$ lanthanated. Works GREAT!!

Political Correctness
A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
Thanks for the suggestions.
