Okay, I'm getting much better at welding aluminum and want to explore some of the more advanced features on my welder. I believe that my machine has a pulser built it, but the owners manual does not explain it well. Can anyone help a guy out on this?

This is the kind of answer that needs to go in the Welding FAQ, so that we can simply refer someone to that site the next time the question comes up -- and undoubtedly it will!

Oh, no, it is not all that simple -- I'm always coming up with new ways to make mistakes! But I've seen Ernie cut & paste this particular answer before, along with several others along the same lines (various settings and parameters for TIG welding).
