Airtronics difference between servos?

I am actually working on a Pinball that uses an Airtronics 94102 servo.

It is bad , but I have an Airtronics 94631 in an unused r/c boat can I sub the 94631 for the 94102?

Thanks, Tim snipped-for-privacy@adelphia.net

I don't know about your pinball machine, but the differences between servos are generally small -- they have different sizes, different speeds, different torques, but beyond that, they all work the same.

If your new servo fits, it's likely to work just fine.

You probably don't even need to stick with an Airtronics servo -- since that's a standard servo, it's likely that most any standard sized servos will work, be them from Hitec, Futaba, JR, Airtronics or others. Unless your servo has been modified somewhat, in which case even a new 94102 won't fix the problem unless it's similarly modified.

Hitec Standard servos are only $9, if you don't want to tear apart your boat.
