Yes, it's a sad story. I forget when and where I picked it up, but it must have been in the last year or so.

Jim, Pretty good book all in all I thought. Gives you an insight into the Japanese Military culture that I found interesting. (Some may think he's defending them). I did find James Bradley's writing style a bit annoying at times. He keeps referring to B-25s as "Billys" (it was nicknamed Mitchell after General Billy Mitchell). "B-25" or "Mitchell" is all I've ever heard them called. He also seamed to be on a first name basis with General Curtis LeMay (head of the USAAF in WWII ). While it's (Admiral) Nimitz, or (General) Arnold, he keeps calling LeMay "Curtis". Odd....

Good read. I'd recommend it.
