hobby store in So Orange County

Slim pickens. Local hobbyshop scene is not what it used to be. Check this link - Hobby People / Shack is about it.

There is a Hobby People near the El Toro exit east of the freeway. Well, there used to be. I haven't been by there in a few months. There's another one in Fountain Valley about 2 blocks north of the 405 called Jax hobbies. I can't remember the name of the exit. You can look them up or call 411 and get it.

Thanks guys for your responses. I went out to Hobby People last night and picked up a newbie r/c airplane. Can't wait to try it out after work, wonder how long before I crash it ;) good thing it was only $40.

Gyro Hobby? I havn't been there in many months. IIRC it's near the 405 fwy and Lake Forest exit.

Jax Hobbies has been closed for weeks. It used to be on Brookhurst, north of the 405 fwy.

Glad to see you went first class. $40 is about the price of one fair quality servo - so good luck with your toy. Come back to the group for advice when you are interested in a real RC plane.
