Possible SPOILER-movie: The Flight of the Phoenix

Hi gang-
I recently watched the original 1965 release and the remake of 2004 and enjoyed the plot twist that mentions our model airplane hobby.
The scene in the 1965 film handled it better and was funnier than in the remake but was fun to compare the two.
The DVD of the remake is out now, and if you can find the original it is worth seeing.

Remember to observe a moment of silence for Paul Mantz, the great aviator who was killed during the filming of the takeoff scenes.
Opinions vary as to what caused the fatal crash (poor design of the aircraft, pilot error, or both), but all of us who love airplanes should be able to pay tribute to a fallen companion.
