I got some gws 8 cell, 750 mah (nimh).... got them for my ez400/speed 400 motor, but the wires that came with them look more like receiver gauge, like
So, am thinking I'll have to put new wires on because the draw will be too high for the wires..
What gauge are people using for the speed 400 motor?

Draws about 10A max that motor.
16swg is better BUT a 750 Nimnh pack wont nearly deliver that sort of current anyway. 6-7A max.That pack is better off on a 350 motor than a 400.
Do you know of a good source for wire? Radio Shack wire must come from the lowest bidder. Even the braided wire is stiff and the coating melts when soldered.
I'd like to get some flexible braided wire with a silicone sheathing.... hard to come by locally..

Tower carries wire. Also try RadicalRC.com They have several flavors of silicon covered wire.
