Thank you Servo City for posting your own thinly disguised commercial

I checked out some of their prices. They are pretty much the same as Tower. For example the Futaba S3004 servo was 4 cents cheaper. Wow!

With the free shipping you save a couple of dollars, but nothing to write home about. Servo City doesn't sell anything heavy enough where the shipping would make a difference.

If you can afford this hobby you can afford the shipping.

That's kind of what I thought too. I wonder if shrills realize just how obvious they really are ... | I checked out some of their prices. They are pretty much the same as Tower. | For example the Futaba S3004 servo was 4 cents cheaper. Wow!

Well, suppose you only need one of them. I believe that Tower would charge you $8 for shipping. That makes for a lot more than $0.04 ...

Servocity seems to have better prices on Hitec servos. Personally I'd go for a HS-311 for $9 or HS-325BB for $13 rather than a S3004 for $15, but then again I've had better luck with Hitec servos.

Saving 35% is worth writing home about, I think.

The only other online R/C part place that I'm aware of that has reasonable shipping for small items is Radical R/C ($2) -- all the others seem to charge a minimum fixed rate for shipping of $8 or so.

| If you can afford this hobby you can afford the shipping.

Just because I can afford the shipping, that doesn't mean I want to pay it if I don't have to ...

I've been very happy with Servocity. They're not always the cheapest (it depends on what you want) but for some things (like HS-81MG servos, which I've bought lots of) you can't beat them.

I am not connected with servo city just a happy customer. Servo City knows nothing about my original post. Your assumptions just show what kind of ass you are.

Did I tell you about the FREE SHIPPING?

Do they have free shipping? You betcha! Not only all the attributes mentioned, but great customer service. I purchased a Hitec Flight Pack from ServoCity and the receiver was defective. I called up ServoCity and with no questions asked they sent a new receiver to me alomg with a prepaid envelope to return the defective one. The same situation with a bad HS-81 happened a few years back with the same satisfying resolution. Who else would send you replacements without you sending back the defects first? They've earned my business. And if anyone wants to spend more than necessary, just because you "can afford to be in this hobby" then send your extra money to me. I can dispose of your excess income better than you can!!!

I live in Australia and I have had only good experiences with Servo City. They ship quickly and don't use really large boxes filled with foam and airbags like some other well known mail order shops do.

I only wish they had FREE SHIPPING to Australia.

I think your wrong.

< I checked out some of their prices. They are pretty much the same as Tower.

You didn't look very well.

< With the free shipping you save a couple of dollars, but nothing to write

As many times that I've ordered from them I've saved at least enough to buy

2 gal. of fuel.

Sometimes I can afford it and sometimes I can't. Elitist.

Advertising by 'word of mouth' saves a company many $$$$ which they can use to provide smaller prices.
