Autodesk Gets Busted Must Pay $18 Million

The Associated Press reports Microsoft and Autodesk were found guilty of "infringing" a patent (they stole something). What was the patent for? The article indicates Autodesk stold what we call the anti-piracy "activation" features from a small software developer who had patented it.

Ironic huh? This would almost be funny if customers would not have to pay the $18 million the fat farm girl from Wisconsin should be paying out of her own pocket for being a thief.
