If one has an object with curves which one wants to present in a perspective linework drawing, is there ANY way to create dithered shading on parts to denote the sense of 3D, without having to add them manually in paper space?
In the example I'm looking at, the object is in a viewport in perspective, hidden line. The object MUST be presented as B&W linework ONLY. The dwg looks too "flat", though, and could really use some black linework shading to indicate depth. Dots would work well.
Is there any way to use the "shading with edges" command in acad to generate dithered monochrome dots, SPARINGLY, instead of continuous tone shading?
