In 2008 you use the spiral command in other versions you use polyarcs.

No, a spiral is a 2D object, and what he asked for. A helix is a 3d object. Look them up in any decent dictionary. ___

The helix command draws 2d spirals as well as 3d spirals. Look it up in the help manual.

Spiral is one of the options of the helix command.
