Asking questions that cannot be answered without making numerous assumptions is a bad hobbit to get into, Frodo

This is one of those questions like "how much does it cost for GM to make a car" Somebody knows but you won't get a straight answer.

How much do they make (MWH) and how much do they ultimately bill? That is the efficiency.

Pretty efficient if the transmission is in high gear. ;-)

-- What are you looking at? Primary source (coal, oil, water, uranium, etc) to consumer? Total generator output to major loads (transmission- typically 95% or thereabouts on average), subtransmission and distribution to your home?

Overdrive even... (well... above even, actually). :-]
