hi all i am gathering information about induction motor soft starter for my university project and i need a matlab simulation for it.Or maybe a circiut of that.Could anybody help please?

you need diagram of main circuit or control part?
'soft-starter' could mean a few different things.
Some work by applying a reduced voltage by simply 'chopping' the AC with a phase-controlled thyristor network. Others are full-blown variable frequency/ variable-voltage starters (VFVV).
Simulating the internals in matlab would be a project in and of itself. Perhaps all you need is something to behave 'like' a soft-starter so you can use matlab to study the motor/load or something? A simple 'ramp' up of applied voltage at a fixed rate would be easy to simulate. Or one that limits motor current to some maximum and controls applied voltage accordingly?

No, no such thing as a variable frequency variable voltage "starter", that is a DRIVE. Some people like to part with their hard earned money too easilly and BUY VFDs when they could have used a soft starter, but that doesn't mean that VFds should be considered the same thing for this purpose.
