What are the characteristics of the B Series for the Master combination padlock?

Generally, they are mostly round, with the exception of a part called a "shackle". They have a forty number combination dial. The authroized user can turn the dial in a prescribed series of rotary motions which mechanically releases the part known as "shackle". Further details forthcoming upon request.
