Cable Lock-Ancient Japanese Secret?

Wondering if someone could ID this



Cable lock, body is black,shaped like large padlock. Nylon-covered Cable attached on one hole-shackle like attachment on other end of cable locks into other. Uses a cylinder key-milling only on one side-flat on other. Logo appears to be a large "C" with what looks like either a large "d" interlocked. Made in japan-appears to be cheaply chrome plated across the top of the lock body. Just wondering-no crisis.

Sounds possibly like the Cannondale bike logo.
