What makes you think Stormin' lives in Utah?

I don't remember the stats, but the LDS church is well over 10 million members, and about or more than half are living outside the US.

Is Albany NY in the USA?

Temps below zero tonight, for about the 20th or so day so far this year. Not all in a row, but still plenty cold.

Enjoy, my friend.

I think it is, I spent 2 hours in the Greyhound depot there waiting for the Buffalo bus after coming from Manhattan.

Yep, we've got some of those pesky critters over here. The young fellas all wear long grey trousers with white long sleeve shirts, and travel around the town in pairs on their bicycles, sweating profusely, (tropics) and banging on peoples doors. When I'm out in the front yard watering the garden, and a couple of them ride up my drive, I generally cool them down with a jolly good hosing, likewise the Jehova's. Not sure if they appreciate my gesture though. :-))

Only the Jehovas here. I didn't know Mormans were missionary in nature.

Steve,

Invite 'em in for lemon aide. They're out at there own expense, most away from home for the first time. They're really very harmless. Not at all like I've expereinced with the JW's. Might even be able to enlist their help with your watering. If you don't want to convert - don't! But these kids really appreciate a friendly place.

Yeh I know, I was only kidding. I took a couple of the young fellas out in the boat a few months ago. Their eyes just about popped out when 17ft croc popped up next to the boat to say G'day, (my boat is only 14ft). Cheers.

That would certainly be something to remember for me too. I'll bet they tell that story for years after they get home. <g>

The Mormons (black name plates) are typically boys of about ages 18-20 who are far from home for the first time. They also pay their own way, typically from a savings account that they saved during their childhood. Sometimes parents pay their way. They believe what they say, which is why they are half way around the world to teach what they believe.

Hosing them down is just plain unkind.

If you were in your shirt and tie passing out locksmith business cards, would you want someone to hose you down?

50,000 full time missionaries. And 10 million "every member a missionary" memers.
