I bet you guys have seen this before also. Really cheap warded locks (such as the ones sold at Dollar Tree)that have "pin tumbler" clearly printed on the packaging but anyone that's ever played with locks can clearly see it's a warded lock, either from the keyhole or the keys.
I also saw a slightly more expensive lock that had "pin tumbler" printed on the packaging and again, it was clearly not a pin tumbler lock. But the key looked very interesting. It had pretty much the same looking cuts as a warded key but not all of them were the same height, kind of like a lever lock.
Are there any companies that even manufactuer lever tumbler pad locks?
