SAAMSONITE Combination LOCKS

The SAMSONITE company strongly recommends their dealers set the combination on all SAMSONITE products to a unique number known well to each particular dealer but different for each authorized dealer.

This way the public cannot fiddle with the inside of the case or maliciously change the combination to one not known to the store staff.

However SAMSONITE recognizes that lockouts do occur from time to time and for this reason all AUTHORIZED SAMSONITE DEALERS are provided with the necessary know-how and tools to gain entry to a locked SAMSONITE combination lock.

Check your local Yellow Pages under LUGGAGE for an authorized Samsonite dealer in your vicinity.

Samsonite combination locks really are not very secure and it takes the dealer less time to open the case than it does for you to explain to them you are locked out.

Department stores that sell Samsonite may not have the sales staff trained in getting into a locked Samsonite case, but the luggage department manager has probably been trained in it.

Hope this helps.
