Hey! I'm in a pinch! I need to know how well works the translation of solids prepared in SolidWorks to Unigraphics and vice versa. If anyone could provide me with such information, I would be most grateful!

You should get good results using "Parasolid" translation in both directions. I would suggest a slightly older version, such as Parasolid
Keep in mind that the translated parts will be "dumb" solid models. You will have the geometry, but none of the parametric history from either CAD system.
