3/6 Tray Hip Roof Box

I'm on a quest to find a suitable replacement for the disintegrating plastic of my current mechanic set truck toolbox. Its a great set my wife gave me for Christmas several years ago. Really a decent mechanics starter tool set, but I've left it out of the truck the last year because the plastic is literally just falling apart. I'm looking for something I can transfer it into that will still just fit in the cross bed box.

I gave up on finding decent new stuff made of sheet metal and bought a 30" shear/brake/roll and a spotwelder. Now everything I make is what I wanted and just the right size. 22 or 24 galvy are plenty strong. I have quite a bit of 22 as trim parts of an above ground pool I disassembled.

Yeah, I probably have one or two or three plastic tackle boxes with 3 layers of cantilever trays. I also found a metal flat top (7 trays they call it) cantilever toolbox with 3 layers, but none in the USA.

That is similar, but I am looking for one split with a barn roof. Not with open to the weather trays. That is the one I have seen, but so far not in the USA.

If memory serves the boxes I had when I was contracting flooring installs were made by Kennedy . Exactly what you're describing with 3 trays/side and the barn roof lid shape .

That was probably expensive. I looked at Kennedy, but I have heard Kennedy doesn't make 'em like they used to. Kinda like Snap-On. Selling on name more than quality now.

The Kennedy website is dead slow, probably in a pitched battle with my security software to spy on me like so many companies these days, so I wasn't able to look and see if they make one now. I couldn't find one on MSC or Zoro websites.
