email me i think i need this for my index mill

I have a Brown & Sharp #9 Collet holder and a full set of collets. What machines use this? Before selling I was wondering what it might fit.

For B&S and other milling machines. These are old style--self holding, so for a more limited market. Hope asp makes the grasp. FM

They should work with my dividing head, which has a B&S 9 taper to accept the center and drive bar. It could presumably also be used with collets, and that might be nice to have for some styles of workpiece.

Good Luck, DoN.

What model Index mill do you have? I just bought an ugly but sweet running 645. It has a #9 B&S taper spindle.

Hey Wayne,

I tried to email you but it bounced back. Please email me regarding the collets.

Thanks,

Dave

i believe my mill is a 645, and i have 1 collet that i use with different holders. would like a set so i can use the machine more. it is a good fly cutting machine it does not vibrate like the bridgeport.

I will post some pictures tonight if I get time

Burke #4 horizontal mills. There's a yahoo group for them (and their vertical cousins). I'm sure people would be interested.
