Does anybody know of a place to get some brass sheets? I am looking for some .040 or .032. I am going to use to build some custom toys. Thanks for the help.

Yea, I think our local hardware stores, Menards, Lowes, etc. all have small pieces of sheet brass. I would imagine that Home Depot would too.
In the same little bin with the sections of angle iron, threaded rod, etc.

Any engraving shop or supplier will have it in quantity... it is widely used for awards.

At the hardware store ask for "shim stock". I don't know if the "building centers" have it but the more industrial type of hardware stores will. I got some very thin sheet stock that way for repair work.
