Interesting idea on the "Right to health care"

Obamacare does not confer any kind of "right".

It tells everyone who can afford to buy insurance that they must buy it or else pay a fine, and provides it for anyone below the poverty level, but any poor working stiff who's above the poverty line but can't afford insurance is just screwed.

It's a rich people's solution to rich people's problems and doesn't do diddly for the people who really need some help.

Further, I suspect that most smokers are just going to pay the fine-- Obamacare allows them to be charged five times as much for medical insurance as nonsmokers.

It's not really about helping anybody, it's about establishing the precedent that the government can punish people for refusing to buy a product.
