Need Info on Old Rockwell Drill Press

Hello Everyone,

I recently bought an old Rockwell Drill Press in very decent condition (It was only used to for drilling a small amount bowling balls in it's day). The tag on it says that it's Model # 15-249. However I cannot find any dealer or website that even lists this as a possible model for ordering parts or a manual.

The model numbers that everyone seems to have jump from 15-247 to

15-251....??? Is this a rare model or something??

Also, I bought this drill without a work table which is what I'm trying to find. Does anyone know where I can get a replica or replacement??? I have a 2 3/4" collumn.

Oh, One last thing. It has a suttle knocking sound to it when it's turned on. Can't tell if it's supposed to sound that way or not. It drills pretty decent (An uneducated acessment) so I'm not sure if I should look into this.

Thanks for any help on this.

Scan through the list and you should find a link to your 15-247 which will call up a parts diagram.
