nsf eddie: well left of center

nsf eddie comically describes himself as a "centrist." He isn't. He only says he is because he thinks it makes his actual positions seem more reasonable. He knows that "extremist" carries negative connotations, and he wants to think positively of himself and wants others to think positively of him.

nsf eddie's gushing praise of his pup's disgusting efforts to recruit long-term dole sroungers to suck up SNAP benefits ("food stamps") is all the proof needed to show that he's a left-wing extremist, not a centrist. People at the center believe that welfare benefits should be available as a safety net, unlike some conservatives who think there shouldn't be any welfare benefits at all; but unlike leftists, who like the idea of permanent dole dependency, true centrists believe that the benefits should be temporary, and limited only to the truly needy. Centrists also believe that those who want the benefits should have to take active steps to seek them, not be passively recruited by activists.

nsf eddie is not a centrist; he's a left-wing extremist.

Feel better now, Jon? To post a pile of shit like that, you must be really feeling the hurt.

And that's the result of you getting your wings clipped every time you open your mouth these days. You seem to be losing your grip. I described for you a safety-net program in D.C. for elderly people who were struggling through the SNAP bureaucracy, and you try to turn it into "permanent dole dependency."

Here's the news, Jon: Those old people are the very ones for whom there is a safety-net, of which you seem to approve. I told you who the church and the social services people sent to those young volunteers, who were there only to help with paperwork, and you re-label them "dole scroungers."

This seems to be getting to you. You're having a hard time promoting your anarcho-capitalist program these days. The few people who respond to you seem to have caught on to your weirdness and to your sick agenda.

You're only going to keep getting frustrated if you keep it up. You aren't fooling anyone.

Yes.

No.

It's not. It's right. You are not a centrist, you're a somewhat extreme leftist.

Glad you got that off your chest, Jon. Starting a thread just to attack someone seems to be a habit among Californians whose intials are "JB."

I thought you just said "yes."

Compared to an anarcho-capitalist freak such as yourself, Ronnie Reagan was a "somewhat extreme leftist."

You really should look at the GSS results, or the results of almost any social-issues or fiscal-issues poll. You'll find I'm about as dead-center as they come.

You won't find that by contemplating your navel, however, which is what you appear to do.
